I do hope this letter finds you in good spirit and well heath.

I am looking to be in contact with people from all walks of life for a variety of reasons. I have decided to create a "Web" presence by somewhat unorthodox means. For sure augmenting my income with a home business would be a great benefit to me. I have been very disgusted with much of the so called "Biz Ops" that have been flooding my inbox and I am convinced that most of these so called "Web Gurus" are in fact "Confidence Men" i.e. con artists. I have no illusions as to whether these people can be beat with their own game but I do make the assumption that if we play for peanuts they will not be bothered to get involved. For this reason I offer to you my help at no charge if you wish to learn more about HTML coding, which is the tool used to build web pages. The HTML code, more correctly referred to as TAGS of a MARKUP LANGUAGE, can also be used to spruce up the email that you send. Beyond changing the type to bold or italic or from color to color, you can create blank non-plain-text stationery.

I choose this email venue as a calling card because many folks have not much interest in building web pages, rightly so because they are uncertain about the content they they would place there. However with the email folk have a good idea of their taste in stationery!

Straightforwardly then it follows; if people become acquainted with HTML by developing stationary for use in their email they are then better suited to tackle designing web pages to promote products or services and learning how to beat traffic to their sites with grace and tact. This way I believe ones chances of success in a home business are greatly increased.

Some friends of mine have remarked to me that my message is not clear.
Ok, many or most in-house (platform based) email programs that help you retrieve your mail from your POP3 server do allow you the capability to change text size or color in the mail you send and that is ok. You should learn to use it if you do not use it already. The thing is that you must go though all the clicking each time unless you can save the settings. What I mean is something beyond that, a small HTML file as a templet can be saved in your drafts folder of your email account and be retrieved as a blank stationery page with one click. Point is that anything that can be done on a "Web page" can be done in your email, pictures, sound, back ground color can fade from one side of the page to the other, numerous type styles can be employed and a much better contrast effect can be produce that is much easier on the eyes.

2nd. point , almost everyone has a taste or preference to the kind of personal stationery they buy a the paper shop but if you ask them to try to design web pages they zone out for not having a clear idea of the content they would place in them. It follows then to have people develop a little savvy of the HTML code the venue should be email and not web publishing!

3rd. point, now let's stop lying to each other and admit; internet MLM is by far the most challenging business one could undertake, CUT AND DRY!

4th. point, developing a technique of successful advertising is a learning curve in its self, how much harder is it if HTML is kept it the closet like some weird uncle!

If you can't find what you need, I'll help, but I ask that you do the same for others some at point that you become adept. I believe everyone has something to offer. I contend that with this technology at our fingertips many of the old obstacles melt away. I you want to learn more about HTML coding, look me up and you will get tutored. Hello!!

This is Alain Lareau, I am sending a note to a couple of dozen people to pick up on the theme of Home Grown email Stationery and break ground on a point more pertinent to The Get Out of the Rut Club. Many and perhaps most MLM programs ask for a fee for start up services and then leave the prospect hanging with little or no support despite what they promise. Those not wishing to be involved in MLM but have the need for formal framework for sharing of resources, which I believe is exactly what the scientific community was shooting for with the introduction of (HTML) HyperText Markup Language back in what 89-92 should also have an interest.

How do folks involved in MLM interact whereby they could (should , would) benefit from the act of association and conversely to what degree could a network of self-helpers and free-lancers mimic a MLM framework to share information on the business of self employment.

Now apart from the commissions based on the sales of real product, which I think is supposed to be the case with MLM, we benefit from the exchange of information knowledge and expertise. So this amounts to a shared resource to which we can refer to and augment as the case may be.

We should also wish to benefit from the fruits of our labor, that is to say we would like to have gained for our work and exertions.

My Proposal is simply this; we do not want a "get rich quick" mind set. We want a long and happy life mind set. Information is not enough. There are many categories of activity that could help us but it is as they can help us those categories become one theme. That is to say all those endeavors that aid and/or benefit us in regard to maintenance and endurance of our households are of interest to us and are the glue that binds us to the degree we decide to share that very same information and expertise. That said for starters we can make a logical list of the variety of ways one brings monetary income into the household.

I'll be very frank, my household has a certain income and my household has certain needs. We are NOT "making ends meet", which I think some time ago meant making the best of a poor situation. The purchasing power of our income can not obtain the needed market basket of goods and services to maintain a heathy home. I beleive this is the case for many other people. I do not wish to get involved with Snake oil salesman or get rich quick mail order MLM hype. I do however wish to network with people across the globe. I have scientific interests I wish to persue but am not aforded such a luxury with my present income.

People can help each other in many way.
I think it is absurd that any U.S. citizen should be compelled to pay someone to be informed about Government grants and loans programs?
We can help inform each other about government auctions and not have to shell out for a list?
Would you like to be tutored on the HTML code and not have to buy some stupid ebook?
I know people that are being ripped off in the stock market?
I know people whose retirement plan has been shattered?
I know many having trouble making ends meet?

This is the way our club works, the first thing we do is ask people is; do they need help getting the straight scoop, do they need a leg up, can we point you in the direction of information you need, can we pass the word around for you to get a problem solved, or even something simple like how do you do such and such on the web, or maybe just finding people with the same interests as you.
